Season Ticket Prices Frozen for 2026
Despite rising costs elsewhere, the club has frozen season ticket prices, ensuring fishing remains accessible to all:
- £100 – Senior members
- £80 – OAPs
- £20 – Juniors
This continues to make KWAA – Kent Angling probably the most affordable salmon fishing in the country, without compromising on quality, conservation, or experience.

Membership Growth Highlights a Thriving Club
Membership has now risen significantly. Particularly encouraging is the growth in junior participation, with around 80 junior members now involved. This reflects the club’s ongoing commitment to nurturing the next generation of anglers and ensuring the long-term future of the sport.
The increase in membership also highlights the club’s reputation for well-managed waters, welcoming culture, and responsible stewardship.
Outstanding River Kent Season in 2025
Fishing on the River Kent during 2025 was among the best seen in recent years. A total of 101 salmon were recorded, including several impressive fish exceeding 20lb, alongside strong returns of sea trout and brown trout.
The club continues to champion catch-and-release and barbless fishing, practices that are now widely adopted by members. These measures are supported by ongoing water-quality monitoring and conservation initiatives designed to protect and enhance the river for future seasons.
Encouragingly, Environment Agency surveys have also identified roach in the River Kent, a positive indicator of improving biodiversity and overall river health.
Killington Reservoir Goes from Strength to Strength

Killington Reservoir continues to grow in reputation as a high-quality stillwater venue. Anglers can enjoy excellent sport for roach, perch, bream, tench and pike, with fishing improving year on year.
An Environment Agency-supported stocking programme, including the introduction of 3,000 roach and bream, has made a noticeable difference to both catch rates and fish quality, reinforcing the reservoir’s status as a key asset for the club.
